The Old Post Office, North Herts Homes - Letchworth, Hertfordhire

This three-storey building was the old Royal Mail sorting office. AAC designed and installed hot and cold services to the ground floor and plumbing and heating for the 6 flats above. This included soil and waste systems, communal risers distributing the gas and water to each flat, and individual metering. AAC also installed a dry riser for fire brigade use.
Lower Marsh, Italian Consortium - Waterloo, London

This three-storey dilapidated building has been altered and extended to create six luxury flats with a ground floor retail unit.
AAC designed and installed the plumbing and heating system to include Alpha fuel saver combination boilers, communal risers, soil and waste installations and under floor heating. Each flat also has a high quality bathroom.
The project achieved Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Ruskin House - Rabley Heath, Hertfordshire

AAC installed the mechanical element of the side and basement extension to this luxury detached property. This comprised of under-floor heating throughout to match the existing home. Soil and waste were installed for the new bathroom and hair-dressing salon. The whole house is covered by a boosted cold and hot water installation along with 500 litres of hot water storage and a secondary return.
Middle Level Commissioners - Cambridgeshire

This was a new build with headquarters measuring 960 m² with a detached depot measuring 840m².
AAC provided both buildings with hot water and radiator heating using Atag combination boilers. Workshop heating was supplied via Reznor high level gas heaters.
One DocM shower-room and WC along with a further 12 WCs were installed, as well as two kitchens. The depot also benefited from a compressed air line from a centralised compressor.
Coopers of Stortford - Braintree, Essex

This project was designed by AAC’s consultant design team. The water system was designed to BREEAM standard. This comprised of PIR water shut off valves, non concussive taps and low water usage WC cisterns. A full DocM shower room was also installed. Warehouse heating was provided by high level Ambirad radiant gas heaters.
Green Dragon Lane - Winchmore Hill, London

AAC supplied and installed Daikin Altherma air-source heat-pumps to 21 new build luxury flats. These provided all domestic hot water and underfloor heating and cooling. The two penthouses were fitted with fan coils for additional cooling from the Altherma system.
Linden Lea - Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Contract value: £33,000
This project was the total refurbishment of an existing detached house along with a new 150m² extension. AAC supplied and installed two 16kW Daikin Altherma air source heat pumps. These provided 600 litres of stored hot water and heating via radiators to the original house, along with underfloor heating to the new extension. AAC also installed three luxury wet-room bathrooms.
